The history of establishment of Govt. Secondary school,Rabitar South Sikkim goes back to year 1974. during the establishment it was undertaken by the education department govt of Sikkim and initially it was lower primary school.it remained same till 1985 and during the very first session of 1986 it was upgraded to primary level by the department.And in the year 2009 it has been upgraded to elementary level and secondary in 2019.
